Get Involved yourself! Volunteer to coach your favorite sport! You will love it. These soldiers of weekend kids sports volunteer countless hours, passion for the games they coach and a genuine love of these kids to help them develop physically, emotionally, and provide them with the opportunities to be part of something fun, exciting, and friend building that they carry with them for a lifetime of “Glory Days”.
Spend some time with your child – don’t just let them have all the fun – volunteer to coach or be a team mom, organize a fundraising event, help out your coach as an assistant!
You say your child hates soccer? Try baseball, football, basketball, tennis, track, there are lots of other things to try! There are great sports available for every age and every ability, just get them moving and get them involved. The whole family can come together over a great victory and offer comfort during heartbreaking defeats!
